Fees are based on admin and ECG requirements, irrespective of medical required.

Public Driving Permit (PDP) Medical

  • Medical Examination – R450

SACAA Medical Certificate | Occupation Health Certificate | Diving Medical

  • Baseline Medical Examination – R1860

in addition, the following may be required depending on SACAA guidelines | Occupational Health Risk | Diving assessment:

  • Audiogram – R248
  • Resting ECG – R362
  • Stress ECG – R621
  • Lung Function Test – R362
  • Cholesterol (total only) – R62
  • Urine Drug Screen – R300
  • Hemoglobin Test (Hb) – R62
If combining medicals (e.g. occupation medical and aviation medical) an additional R575 admin fee will be levied. 

An Initial Medical (starting to fly) will consist of a Baseline Medical, Audiogram, Resting ECG, Lung Function and Cholesterol = R2894

Kindly note regarding aviation and diving medicals:

Mandatory Chest X-Rays for initial medicals for own account.
Specialist reports and blood tests for applicants subject to medical protocols for own account.
Payment at time of service.
Flight medicals are not routinely paid for by medical aids. Check with your scheme if they cover it.

Cancellation of an appointment with less than 24-hour notice will incur a R400 admin fee. Failure to notify us of a cancellation (i.e. “no show”) will result in no further appointments being granted
